Microsoft Volume Licensing and Parellel's for Mac's
Posted by Craig Averbeck on 06 June 2014 08:03 PM

Running Parellel's (vs. 9) on a Mac with a MS Volume Licensing (MSVL) key. The issue I was running into was because MSVL OS's already have the license key included in the OS download, which was causing Parellel's to not recognize the DVD/HD when installing. It would essentially go strait to a network install; looking for DHCP, etc. You "may" be able to burn the Windows ISO downloaded for MSVL to a DVD and it could work. However, if you do not have that option, and I think the easier way would be to go to Window's forums (for Win 7) (http://www.w7forums.com/threads/official-windows-7-sp1-iso-image-downloads.12325/), download an ISO that does not have a key and enter the key for the OS when setting up in Parellel's. This option does work for both 64/32 bit versions.
