A quick hack on an ssh reverse tunnel (i.e. from behind a firewall)

On the host behind the firewall you want to pierce, run:

ssh -NL 7071:localhost:7071 -p222 [email protected]
where  ^^local port      ^^remote port.

 

This can be done at any Linux command line, as well as from Cygwin.
